Dhofar - Salalah
4 Days / 3 Nights
Day 1: Flight to Salalah from the Muscat International airport with your guide. Recovery of the vehicle and “en route” to our hotel in order to book in and to deposit our luggage. Lunch. Followed by an afternoon dedicated to the visit of Salalah: Tomb in Nabi Umran; Al Balid Archeological site. Back to our hotel, for dinner.
Day 2: Discover the West coast of Salalah to Mughsayl, “through the camels” we move between mountain and sea. On the top of impressive cliffs, we stroll along sandy beaches and the Mughsayl geyser. We have lunch in a small restaurant on the edge of the sea. After lunch it is possible for a swim. Then we return on our steps to go to the North of Salalah in the reserve of the Frankincense UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to our hotel, for dinner.
Day 3: En route to the East Coast, Khor Rori will be our first stop: this sumptuous archaeological site, overlooking a “khor” excellent for bird watching, in the distance the Indian Ocean and its transparent blue water. We wander in this setting to resume onto the road to Mirbat. Lunch wil be in Mirbat in a small restaurant on the seafront. Then back on our foot steps we move towards Wadi Darbat to discover this long wadi over taken during the period of the Khareef. Return to our hotel, dinner.
Day 4: Morning relaxation, breakfast at the hotel or in a restaurant with your guide. Transfer back to the airport of Salalah and flight back to Muscat.
